Did you know that America’s largest community of wine explorers is headquartered right here in Scranton? The American Wine Society reached out to BlackOut to deliver a high-impact and simple to navigate site that showcases all of the AWS content as well as integrates into their existing membership toolset, all while giving society chapters all across the nation easy digital access to events, publications, and educational resources.
The new look and feel takes elements from the new AWS logo using the deep, rich purple color throughout and also prioritizes the key elements of AWS – Events & Conferences, Wine Discovery, Competitions and Publications – making it easy for visitors and members to navigate.
We chose large, colorful lifestyle photos throughout the site to quickly communicate the client’s mantra – “Wine is fun. Learning about it should be too.”.
The new website design and development expresses American Wine Society’s appreciation of wine through education while reinforcing its passion for wine discovery for more than 50 years.
