Starting 2018 with a Strong Team

We’re expecting 2018 to be another year of growth for BlackOut Design. In April of 2017, we marked 14 years in business and more than 241 clients served.

In October, Vikki Lawhon joined BlackOut as a graphic designer. With a BA in Integrative Arts from Penn State University and an MFA in graphic design from Savannah College of Art & Design, Vikki has developed an approach to design that strikes a balance between brand consistency and innovation.

Her previous agency roles include advertising executive, archeological graphic technician and senior art director. She has also served as a lecturer, career advisor and studio art instructor for the Savannah College of Art & Design. Most recently, she was the owner of >V< Creative, where she developed designs for a variety of clients.

Our newest addition to the team, Liam Hamilton, joined us this month as a web developer. Liam graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Information Technology and a minor in Security and Risk Analysis. He has prior agency experience working with a variety of clients to develop interactive and responsive websites and maintaining usability. In addition to his skills as a front-end web developer, Liam is knowledgeable in software modeling, C++ and API development.

As we approach our 15th year of business in the marketing and advertising industry, we’re looking forward to developing fresh solutions to the challenges we solve for clients in 2018.
