Welcome Alexandra to the Team!

BlackOut Design’s new visiting designer, Alexandra, started last week and we couldn’t be more excited. Entering her junior year at Marywood University, Alexandra is studying graphic design with plans to pick up an illustration minor this coming year.

In the short time that she has been pursuing the visual arts, Alexandra has produced award-winning work for clients including an Italian luxury design house in Florence, Italy. She received the SACI Florence High Commendation Award for Exceptional Work in Design and the Marywood University Talent Award in Visual Art.

While she possesses a versatile portfolio of work, her abilities shine brightest through typography and illustration projects. Describing her style as “simple, bold and witty,” she enjoys the challenge of communicating a message through design.

During her time at BlackOut, Alexandra will apply her keen eye for detail and contemporary style to concepts and designs for client campaigns that include posters, sell sheets, custom social media graphics, and digital banners.
