September Happenings

September was a busy month at BlackOut HQ. We launched FarmFresh PA, a directory for all things fresh and local and received a tremendous outpouring. We’re so grateful for everyone’s support! Keep your recipes coming and don’t forget to share any seasonal events to be featured.

In addition to Farm Fresh, we launched two brand new websites for clients- NEPIRC and Keystone Automation. While the NEPIRC project was a new website design with a brand new client, this was the second website we’ve worked on for Keystone and was a makeover of sorts for this growing, long time client. These projects not only showcase our ability to work within various industries, but also serve as a reminder that whatever your company’s needs, BlackOut can help.

We’re also excited to announce that Megan Jones has joined our team as a part-time Marketing Assistant. Megan started as an intern over the summer and her hard work and sharp skills have paid off… she’s now part of our nutty, talented and enthusiastic team. Welcome Megan!

As September came to a close and now October is in full swing, we’re looking forward to some fun fall activities and milestones at BlackOut. Our Director of Agency Operations, Noelle, has been hard at work serving on the committee for the Gala for the Cure, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Susan G. Komen in Northeastern PA. (Or, as we fondly refer to it, Prom 2015.) Noelle and a dozen other local business women graciously volunteered their time and talents for this black-tie fundraiser and are proud to report that the event was a huge success with over 300 people in attendance. We are proud to operate in a community that pulls together like this!

And in other news, both Jess and Lilly (Jack’s adorable daughter) have birthdays in October… happy birthday, girls! (Cupcake deliveries will be accepted at 201 Lackawanna Avenue. Suite 228.)

The team at BlackOut also bid farewell and best wishes to designer, Rachel Beasley, who accepted a position with the Scranton Times (and luckily is still close enough to do lunch with us!)

With several large-scale projects in our pipeline, fall is sure to be an exciting time here at BlackOut… We can’t wait to share the stories of these successes with our friends and clients so stay tuned!
