How many times have you visited a company’s website before you’ve made an inquiry or purchase? As more consumers are making decisions based on an organization’s online presence, the appearance, content, and usability of your website are all factors you should take into consideration when reviewing your website in preparation for the new year. Your company’s website is the only form of marketing available to your target audience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Are you putting your best foot forward?

In terms of evaluating your website, here are a few things you should look at:

Have you updated your product line in a way that should be reflected on the website?

Has your target market changed?

How is your ranking on Google?

Is your website responsive and mobile friendly?

Does the design represent your organization’s logo and branding?

Are you able to easily update the content on your site?

Depending on your answers it might be time to update your site. Remember that your website will most likely set a first impression of your organization, so you should consider it as a an extension of your sales team.
