A Message From BlackOut Design

As our 12th year in business draws to a close, I’ve once again found myself looking back on the year. What have we done well? Where can we improve? How can we better serve our clients? I’m excited to announce that in early 2016, BlackOut Design will be moving its headquarters to a new local office. Before I share the details with you, a bit about how we got here…

2015 brought a variety of changes at BlackOut, including the addition of Noelle Krempasky, our Director of Operations, and Megan Jones, our Marketing Assistant. At the end of November, I’m proud to say that we’ve completed over 140 projects for our clients, ranging from rack cards and brochures to website design and development. I’m looking forward to continuing to grow this number in 2016 too!

Throughout the year, we have worked on numerous projects for new clients like NEPIRC, Borton-Lawson Engineering, Nibbles & Bits, Driven Athletics, No Bull Ranch, LLC, among others. We’ve also continued working with clients like Johnson College, which experienced record-breaking enrollment in 2015. No matter the industry, we are always amazed at the work our clients do to inspire, educate and motivate our community.

As 2016 begins, we’re now setting our sights on making a 3-story property our new home. The office will feature studio space for our design and development team that takes advantage of ample natural light and an open floor plan, while the second floor will house a glass-enclosed conference room and lounge space. Finally, the third floor will hold additional meeting space as well as our business development and management offices. I hope you will all stay tuned for an invitation to the unveiling once renovations are complete, as I look forward to seeing each of you and welcoming you to our new home. In the mean time, we will send updates as progress is made!

A friend and mentor of mine once talked to me about how the space your business occupies sets the tone for not only the work you do, but for the high performance standards expected of your team. It is my hope that this new office is a welcoming environment for us to collaborate with clients in as well as set the bar for 2016 and beyond.

Thank you for the trust and confidence you’ve placed in our team and from from our family to yours, happy holidays!
